Looks like a great sight. Light and simple. Way more excited about this than the UV or dialed stuff. This and the boonie are top imo. I lean towards this new Driver since I’m not a fan of spot hogg horizontal pins and love the accustat II scope.
It has 1st axis, which is adjusting everything in relation to the bow, but no way to adjust the level and pins to the slider rail, which is the true 2nd axis and the most critical axis adjustment on the sight… I agree that is a massive miss and you have to bank on everything being perfect and true with the level, pins, windage, etc. so they are all square with the rail… granted Axcel does a great job with their machining and quality so it may not be a huge deal, but definitely something a $425+ sight should have. The lack of axis adjustment and relying on the machined parts all being absolutely perfect is more of a feature of a budget sight than a top dollar product. Yes it can’t get bumped off, but it may also never be on and there is zero ability to shim anything to fix it based on what I’m seeing. Had the level at least been adjustable then you could set the level to the pins or the slide rail if they didn’t all match perfectly. I’d be upset to spend that kind of money to not be able to shoot from 20-100 in a straight line from no 2nd axis adjustment. Maybe they spend the time to check every one like Spot Hogg does with the boonies. If they are checking that everything is right on from the factory then that makes this concern no longer an issue. This could be an even bigger issue if you try to swap heads with another one that isn’t as true as the factory head.Great looking sight. It's about time someone made a slider that doesnt weigh 3/4 of a pound. But i dont like the fact that 1st and 2nd axis are the same. Essentially doesnt have a 1st axis adjustment. Thats a big miss for a $500 sight.
They said 12 weeks, but I am pretty sure I will be getting it earlier than most through some friends of friends.did they give you an ETA? If it's the landslyde timeline ("~1.5" years to be "In stock") then I will pass.
Video I posted shows 3 versions, full size standard mount, Mathews mount and picatinny mount.IMO a UV was just an upgraded landslide. I’m wondering if this is the sight that will be a Mathews version.
I will say now watching these videos they addressed some stuff made it more simple. I like it and as long as the price isn’t ridiculous I might purchase
So on the invoice for the preview pack there’s a sight listed. When they (Mathews) introduced the bridge lock system they used axcel.Video I posted shows 3 versions, full size standard mount, Mathews mount and picatinny mount.
This was my assumption. It'll most likely be a Mathews branded Driver. So on the invoice for the preview pack there’s a sight listed. When they (Mathews) introduced the bridge lock system they used axcel.
AVX scopes will fit it. I'm sure there will be SKUs for this sight to come with the AVX line sometime in the next few years. No verticle pins?
It can be ordered with a Ranger 2-Pin vertical. Not sure if they have a stacked 3-Pin yet.No verticle pins?

As for the sight itself, I'm in love but I fully admit I'm an Axcel/Tru ball fan boi. Do we know if and when its going to be available in a AVX Ranger configuration?
Mathews is listing bows with the option of a sight. It’s a ultraview and supposedly redesigned 60% and gonna cost $699So on the invoice for the preview pack there’s a sight listed. When they (Mathews) introduced the bridge lock system they used axcel.
