I just bought a "new" compound bow. It is a Bear Black Compound. Serial # 170826. I picked it up for almost nothing. I really like it so far.The Questions I have are these: The stated pounds and D.L are 55#'s and 30", can these be changed? Also, it doesn't have a cable guard, but the fitting is there, can I get one? Finally, Who should I contact about getting a new string and cable set? The one on it is in good/great condition, but I would like to have a new one on it for saftey's sake, just to be on the good side of the fence.
