It's great to see a Darton getting some respect in an article like that.....
....The Marauder is definitely a nice bow, and I wouldn't mind having one.

I can't wait to see some pics of that double-slaved, 320 IBO monster-slayer they're working on.

The Bow Is Very Smooth For The Wieght You Are Pulling The Cps Is Very Smooth I Have A 60 Year Old Friend Who Absolutely Loves The Marauder Because He Can Pull 57lbs With Ease. And He Has Had Shoulder Problems As Well.

Darton has been around for years and years and still here thru thick and thin. Can't go wrong with them, they wouldn't still be here and competitive if they didn't know what they were doing... Solid bow before & will be.

"Great Buy" I believe that was the rating that the magazine gave to the "Darton Marauder" It is a very versatile bow as well no draw elements. One cam and its a master piece of T-Rex's engineering skills. Here are some specs and article info from the Darton web site.

The new and compact Marauder is the next evolution in compact, high-performance hunting bows.

An all new CPS Hybrid 1-1/2 Cam with a single draw module provides for quick and easy draw length adjustments in 1/2" increments from 26 through 30-inches. This is made possible by Darton's highly innovative and patented method of anchoring the bowstring to the adjustable module. The bowstring length is adjusted automatically as the module is adjusted. Adjustment are made easily by simply removing two screws, rotating the module to the desired position and replacing the screws. That's all there is to setting up the Marauder for tack-driving accuracy.

Eflex Parallel Pre-Loaded Energy Limbs effectively store and transfer CPS energy with unbelievable smoothness and minimized hand shock resulting in unmatched noise reduction. Like every Darton bow, the Marauder features a rock-solid draw stop feature that provides the shooter with a very distinct and consistent wall with a very short valley for a crisp and consistent release on every shot.

The Marauder has a very forgiving brace height of 7-5/8" and has an axle-to-axle length of 32". With speeds in excess oof 305 fps, the Marauder sets a new standard in smooth, quiet and compact hunting performance.

The Marauder can be purchased as a bow only or as a Darton package with a fiber optic sight, matching camo bow quiver and a Whisker Biscuit rest. Finish: Realtree Hardwoods HD® Green
