Mrs. Maverick is milling over the idea of a new bow. She currently shoots the Sapphire and loves it, but she likes the feel of the CAM 1/2. My question is, do any of the Hoyt shooters have trouble with their hands slipping and sliding up the grip on the new Hoyt competition colored tech risers? A friend of ours just swithed from a Mathews to and Ultratech and said she has trouble for that exact reason. The finish is so glossy and slick that her hand slides up the grip and she is almost forced to shoot high wristed because of it. Then she added that the grip is so narrow at the top that it also makes her hand uncomfortable. I love the grips on the tech riser, but would like to know if anyone has experienced any difficulty with them.

I do not know of anybody else with the issue but I know where your friend can get a grip for her bow that might help.

Loesch Enterprises makes a nice half grip for the TEC risers that might help her out, or anyone else that is having an issue.
