Finally got my new MR6 28/70 Black Riser Camo Limbs, QAD Mathews HDX, Axion Stab, Axcel Vision 5 Pin HD, Focus Grip. On the String G5 Titanium Peep and D Loop.. I wanted to tune this bow for speed so I was trying light arrows. Started to tune her and went threw a few arrows before finding the right one for this beast went threw, GT Ultra light Pros, Velocity Pros, Beman Speed, Blue streak Selects, Easton Injexions.... Finally my boy said try Da Torch.. Yes I didnt want to but I gave in and damn did they make a tight arrow this arrow is nice and stiff great spine, .0001 starightness and at 400 they are7.2 GP I u cant beat that, Nocked on up and it tuned great few arrows later perfect Bullet Holes.. Fletched them up with new AAE Pro Max vanes arrows are cut to 27 so they are nice and stiff total weight with a 100 gr tip was 340gr... Put her threw the Chrono = 333FPS WOW:flame:

400 is very much on the light side for that bow. I wonder if a 340 wouldnt generate as much or KE even if a little slower? I have been shooting GT 7595 on my MR bows 2 70#'s.

Can't beat 7.2gpi at spine 400? http://www.carbonexpressarrows.com/archery/target-arrows/cxl-pro

Carbon express has CXL target arrows that are twice as wide and only 6.4 gpi.
Or their Mutany Slasher:

7.0Gpi similar specced arrow, just a little stiffer.

Skyart also makes 0.001 straightness 6.6 gpi 400 spined arrows.

Problem is, on a 28" 70# bow, spine 400 is quite a bit underspined. You'd need about spine 320 for that setup. Shortening the arrow and putting less weight in the front might enable you to shoot those accurately, but do mind that you are a little under 5grains / pound on that current setup. This by no means will mess up your MR6 as some believe, but it will make it a bit louder on the shot and wear the strings out a bit faster.

Now I must say it indeed is rapid for a 28" draw. Yet is is short of it's IBO. Monsters usually scale really really well with heavier arrows. I take it you want to take this setup hunting, a bit heavier arrow will likely pack more punch. I'd personally rather have the 340 Torch / Hexx with 125 grains at 300 fps than your current selection to cut up some dear-hearts & lungs.

I guess you like your MR6. I just bought the Creed. I'm picking up the MR6 this coming Wednesday.

High Country Archery sells the Carbon Revolution arrows, which are lighter and stiffer than any arrow I have been able to find.
Speed Pro Max 5.5 by Carbon Revolution...5.5 grains per inch....0.324 spine deflection @28"

They also make a 6.2 grains per inch arrow and a 8.0 grains per inch arrow.
