I saw a few of the quick video's from the ATA show showing the upper hood and rubber gripper that will attach to the cable roller guard arm, and PSE has NOTHING on their web-site as far as the new offerings, does anyone have any more info or pics of what all will be available as far as the two piece quivers for the newer bows like the Mach 30 DS? I hope they offer a lower attachment point instead of just the roller arm attachment for the gripper.

before they took them off the web site ..they showed actual two piece version ,with gripper mounted
on a bracket ...I think the dealer ordering sheet has pictures of it ...sure hope its offered ...
I like my quiver gripper to garb arrows right in front of fletchings , for secure hold and les vibration noise

I totally agree. I don't like a lot of arrow past the grippers to twang and vibrate on the shot. Hopefully we will have the longer attachment points available. If not, I guess I will be fabricating one! Keeping my fingers crossed!

Why does PSE website always suck so badly?
They are one of the biggest archery manufacturers in the world but cant keep the website updated.

Hire a website manager.

Any idea when these new quivers will be available?
They were doing good, cleaning it up, updating it - and then it really went south, before you could still pull up older bows and specs, but now you cant even pull up 2023 / 2024 stuff out of the downloads....

Okay, the quiver is really nice, but it also sucks too. No, it DOES NOT come with the lower attachment point like all had hoped. It ONLY attaches to the cable roller arm for the gripper attachment to the bow. That part sucks. I also have an issue with my upper attachment hole. When I put the triangle piece in place and torque it down, then attach the hood and torque it down, I can still move the hood up and down 1/2" due to the part that is installed in the riser moving back and forth inside the riser itself. Probably never move once I put arrows in it, which I did put three in and it seemed pretty solid, but still sucks. Might have to give PSE a call on that though.

Now that I've said that, let's talk about the overall design. Really LOVE how light it is, feels like a feather in your hand, but solid on the bow. Arrow spacing is adequate, and the grippers hold the arrows very well. Hood is adjustable up and down, so you can get it right to the top edge of the cam on my Mach 30, or below the limb if you like. Having the gripper on the roller guard arm makes pushing an arrow into the gripper very solid, same goes for pulling an arrow out, feels like a rock and makes it easy to do.

The quiver sits back further on the bow than most any quiver I've run so far and I sorta like it. Leaves you total access to the sight, so if you are running a slider or adjustable sight, you will have total access with nothing in the way. The amount of arrow going past the gripper is not ideal and when I bang on the riser, all the arrows shake like I don't like them to do, I prefer the gripper to be further down the bow so you don't get that vibration.

Overall I like the quiver a lot. I think it is a little pricey but it is solid (except for my riser part being loose), and well designed. With just a little bit more thought on their part, the thing could have been a home run. But overall, it's a very nice, light, solid quiver. Here are a few pics of it on my Mach 30.

First off, thanks for the honest review of the new 2-piece. I had a lot of the same questions/reservations about the quiver. I have already committed to ordering one that will come with my Mach 30 when it's here.

1. Vibration- Any notable rattling or noise when shooting with the quiver on? (I've used a Quivalizer for several years on my Mach 1 and Inline 3...hoping this quiver is solid)

2. I too thought about using that armrest/stabilizer to also try shaving weight while making it more comfortable to hike the elk mtns with...how are you liking it?

3. the additional pic mount below your stab...is that for putting your GoPro or tactacam on, I'm guessing?

Thanks in advance for the feedback. The bow looks sharp!!

1. I did take the time to shoot yesterday, so I will update that info once I get the chance to shoot some, so I only know that for now, when I bump the riser with my hand, the arrows vibrate quite a bit more than I'm used to with a quiver with a lower attachment point.

2. Love the stabilizer. It took a little getting used to, but so far on my short whitetail hunts, I have found a number of ways to carry the bow with this stabilizer and so far really like the features.

3. Yes, I have a Tactacam 6.0 and had it mounted there, but I actually plan to chop a Tactacam pic mount up and make it fit in the lower stabilizer hole so it will be a little more in-line so the whole setup will lay in my bow case better, but this worked for what I wanted for my local whitetail hunts this past season.

Super 91, Thanks for being the guinea pig on the PSE 2 piece.
First glance, it appears the arrows are not perpendicular to the hood and are coming out at an angle. It may just be the pic.
I mounted a Tight Spot bracket to the riser holes on my Mach 30 and can get the quiver carbon rods to touch the roller guard bar when attaching the quiver. Very balanced set up.
The arrows on the TS run parallel to the string when viewed from behind the bow while it appears by the pics that your arrows are pushed further out by the gripper on the roller guard bar.
The only negative of the TS is the weight compared to the PSE 2 piece.
Again, thanks for the review. (y)

Yes, the hood in the pics is slightly out of line, but not as much as the pic makes it seem. This is part of the movement I get in the part that is mounted in the riser. I certainly plan to address this and see what I will need to do to get this corrected. It may be that I can add some JB Weld in the pocket to make it 100% solid, but more research needs to be done to determine the root of the problem there.

There is no adjustment to get the hood any closer to the riser. This is where a little more engineering would have been helpful. If they had made the triangle piece to where the hood attachment went over it instead of attach to the end, you would have been able to lower the hood and slide it back towards the riser and make it clear the limb when drawn back, and get the whole thing as close or far away as you would like, but I assume they did this so there is less room for human error. If they had done it like I mentioned above, people might place the hood in the way of the limb, draw the bow back and damage the limb by hitting the hood. So they probably made it more user error proof this way. If they had made a lower attachment bracket, which I may do anyway, you could make it where your arrows just went by the roller guard arm, keeping your arrows pretty dang tight to the bow and making for a pretty slim setup overall. I have a machinist friend who will be able to make the parts for me and plan to talk with him soon to see if this part can be made pretty easily, which I think it will be, so that is my plan at this point in the game. I do this type of thing all the time.

I have one coming with my bow when it gets here ...very disappointed the gripper does not come
with bracket mount for lower hole in riser !!! why is there a hole in the riser down there ? might be over kill
but I wouldn't mind two grippers , my arrows are very expensive, so having them very secure while
I am going through thick nasty stuff for miles might be great ...I already made plans to have mine dipped
and because of the pattern ,I had to ask for favors and pull strings .... but I definitely want the gripper lower

Thanks Super 91 ...please let me know what you find out , also any remedies for tightening up what
ever is installed into the riser "bushing insert" that is unacceptable to me

I am guessing they ditched the lower mount for weight savings ..but these lower gripper brackets
must have been made , I think I seen pictures before of them ...

I'm sure they put the lower attachment point there because I'm sure someone, maybe TreeLimb quivers, might have the ability to use this for their quivers. there may be other manufacturers who would have the ability to make use of the two attachment points, but I have not done the research to see who has those capabilities.

I hope that may be something PSE is working on as well. What they have now is a very useable system and does work well, and for those of use who would like to use that attachment point, that would be a good addition and I hope they make this part available. But in the meantime, I plan to fabricate something myself. The parts needed to make this happen will not be that difficult to make really, but will require someone with the right skills and equipment to make it happen, which I have access to. I already have the design in my head, so it should not be hard to get done, but will take a little time to complete the project.
