Ok guys 20 days out until bow season and my string seems to be in pretty bad shape in just one spot. I guess I could start a entire different thread off of just that but for now I'll stick to string question and ask the pro shop to look at it tommorrow. So my question is what would you recommend is the best string for the money. I would like to spend less than $ 50 if possible.

I just got Bucknasty strings, and they are awesome!!! the thing is he's back up on order's. If you want Vapor Trails are alittle more money, but you'll have then in just a few days.

Vapor Trail or Prostrings....I've tried both and I highly recommend either one. First I got a set of Prostrings from Shel for my Martin and they are awesome. My last set was Vapor Trail for my PSE Vengeance and they are awesome too. Can't go wrong with either. Why did I get Vapor Trail rather than Prostrings for my PSE...not because I wasn't satisfied...I like trying different things.

I have Crackers strings on my Tribute and Bucknasty strings on my Allegiance. They are both excellent quality strings at a fair price.
