It kind of blows my mind how the most common and easy market place on FB doesn't allow for selling of bows and bow parts. Makes me feel like I am not in America anymore. I was directed here as a good place to start, any tips?

That's because Archery Talk is not a marketplace. It is a community building forum. The classifieds are reserved as a benefit to those who chose to be active, contributing members. If someone sent you here to use as a marketplace only, they steered you wrong.
My standard response is this: Come here to be a part of the forum first and foremost. Treat your posts like a resume. What you post will allow other members to determine the quality of your character and whether they would want to conduct business with you. Well thought out posts that contribute to the conversation. And they create a positive resume.
I don't disagree... BUT on that note, where is a good place to look for a good used bow. I only have one "local" bow shop (45 min away). Unless they happen to get a trade in thats what Im looking for, thats a bust.
Im not sure... Ive found some on there, nothing Im looking for though. The reason I try to use a forum is because as a buyer, I trust it. Ive been a long time member of some gun and car forums and always had success in the buying/selling (not getting ripped off). But as I stated before, I don't disagree with the point you guys are making. I plan on utilizing this forum for more than just the classifieds... there is a plethora of knowledge here
Welcome to the AT community. You may find that a great deal of members with time and post count invested will not touch the classifieds posts from the 20 post newbies that basically state they are here just to buy/sell…..
