mirage is a great bow. Browning archery was bought by PSE so it has awesome customer service. If you decide to shoot any tournaments, Browning also has the Browning pays program to put money back into your pocket if you do good at the shoot.

of course you will get about 20 different answers for the kind of bow you should get, my opinion is go to your local shop, see what they have and shoot as many as you can to get the feel for them all. I did that and ended up with a Bowtech tomkat two years ago, I paid about $300 with rest/quiver/sights, of course they were cheap, and I replaced most of them, but it is a great shooting bow. my 2 cents......

I have to agree with OD Crew take the time to go to the pro shop and shoot several different bows and see which one you like and then just get on here and find it. There are bows on here for sale all the time. Good Luck and Welcome to the site.

Shoot as many different bows as you can and then go from there. Good luck and don't forget to post a picture of it after you make your decision. Remember a good shop will ask you what type of shooting you want to do and then have you shoot a couple bows. The most expensive bow may not be the right bow for you.

Good luck.....Tim

I agree with Tim Z. Go to a few ranges and see what other people are shooting. Most people will let you see and shoot their equipment. I will let anyone shoot my bow that ask. This will let you try alot of different setups to see what you like or don't like.

Good luck in you search and welcome to the forum,

Just my 2cents

I would have to agree with everyone who said there is no one bow for every person. Shoot a bunch, handle a bunch and then decide what you like. I have shot many, many different bows and no two are alike and most companies make a decent bow. Don't get cought up in the numbers though. I shot a very fast bow for a while and it was fun but had no place on the competition line. Now i shoot a somewhat slow but very smooth, accurate bow. The other bow i gave to a good friend and it will serve him very well. My point, everything is a trade off so decide what you want the bow to do and go from there.
