It looks like the Ol’ Tree Lounge stands are being built again.
Looks to be much lighter than the original one. They were like carrying a sofa :behindsof on your back!

I'm happy to see them in aluminum and it looks like two companies are making versions. I've used the original and it's comfortable but it's a tank. I do prefer the larger Summit climbers. I feel safer when sitting because of the rail and for me, they are every bit as comfortable and cooler in warm temps. I go almost 30' at times and the Summit is just better at going that high and being safe.

I've got alot of trust in my summit viper, I replace the cables every couple of years cause the rubber get chewed up from use and tree bark I love the padded rail and I love the seat, hard to believe a weld broke under normal use but hell anything is possible, any American made product deserves our support

I had 2 of them over the years, after I had my Timber Tall Super Brute, there was no other stand worth using, most comfortable stand ever made, and safe to nap in, only 17 lbs. the brute was 14 lbs. That tree lounge was a royal pain to drag around, nut I was young and,,,, well we will just say, uneducated back then!

That Super Brute I still have and will never part with!

I'm with you catter. I have a bruit light. I used that stand hard. It's a little tight now though.

I carried a tree lounge once in and once out. The first one I had still hangs on the tree my dad hunted before he passed. I picked up a second one for $25 to use as a cart for him a few years before he past away.

forgot about the Docs stand. always wondered. i pulled my Treelounge out last year and hauled it up the mountain. as long as you strapped high on your back its no worse suck than most and way more comfortable once up. there not for everyone. at 53 i can still haul one and if you stay in one spot sun up to sun down then its well worth it. i almost never shoot off the platform. its a bit springy as some call it a diving board. i only use it to pee off of or stretch once in a while. the anchor points on other climbers dont seam as solid to me as the V and back bar of a TreeLounge. think id rather drag in a ladder stand than sit on a tiny web or mesh seat. those seats dont compare to the lounge chair type. ive tried a bunch.
