I recently bought a hoyt ultramag and have been shooting it quite a lot. When I shoot there is a slight rocking back of the bow. Is this normal? I have been shown the proper way to grip, so I'm not squeezing it or torquing the bow.

Another question. It will literally drop the arrows one on top of the other. Its where I cannot shoot at the same spot or I tear up the fletching. Learned that the hard way. Can it be shooting that well and not be tuned properly.

Thanks
Ben

I have the same bow as you and had the same problem. mine also had some hand shock when shooting alot. I used a rubberized stabilizer with a wieghted end . that took care of my hand shock and now the bow falls slightly forward, instead of back towards me...
good luck and great shooting.

Yep, you need a good stabilizer.

Stacking arrows is a problem some people wish they had! I never shoot for the same spot twice to avoid damaging my arrows. Yes, your bow may be capable of this kind of accuracy without being properly tuned. You may just have it adjusted well. I would recommend learning to tune your bow. You accuracy can only improve, especially at long distances.
