Here is a shed we found from a buck we had encounters with this past fall. This side scored 75 3/8. He should be a real stud next year. Here is a pic of him in velvet and the shed.

trust me we've been burnin up the boot leather trying to find the other side.

Very nice...how old would you say he is, cuz he may be a real giant next year!

I would guess him to only be 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 in this picture. He's not real massive. Base measurement was only 4 4/8. And from looking at his body he doesn't have much of a sway back but is pretty decent sized. Who knows this is the first year we've hunted this farm so we don't have any history with him prior to this year. But I think he's still got some growing to do.

Plan

Place out several mineral and calciums blocks ASAP ( their cheap ). fertilize the local oak/apple trees. Scout stands now and clear general shooting lanes. Zip tie your mouth and plan on hunting him on the oaks the first of bow season. Good luck! Possible Booner next year if things go well.
