I just received my new Archers Choice range finder....I pulled it out, fired it up and the damn thing wont take ranges in the rain( the rangefinder is waterproof)....I went and got my old nikon 550 prostaff rangefinder and it measured distances fine....Anyone else have or heard of a simular problem??

Yes I had the same problem in the rain and light mist the other day and the thing would not work till it cleared up. Whats with that? Anyone have any ideas why that is or if there is a Nikon recall or repair on the Archers Choice ID range Finder?

Mine does the same thing sometimes too...
