i just bought a rytera bulletx with nitrous shoot through system, my question is when i shoot the bow there is still a funny sound that i think is coming from the cables because i done put string silencers on the main string. do any of you put silencers on the cables too or just on the string? when i pull and snap the cables some make a funny twang like a string with no silencers on it. will it hurt to put silencers on the x cables? first bow i ever had like this but i like the way it shoots so i am gonna keep it and learn how to work on it.

X cables noise

I also shoot a Rytera Bulletx with the shoot thru system. I do not hunt with it. But if I did. I would install knock cushions on each cable about 1.5 inches from where they attach to the axles. This should take care of any cable noises at the shot. Plus they are cheap to purchase and with the shoot thru system you can install them without a press.

I hope this helps!

Sounds like a spacer on the axle. Also, check your mods screws. You can buy very thin spacers to add to the axle to tighten things up. Hold on to the E clip and bushing and then snap the cable with your fingers. If you don't hear the noise, you know that is the problem.

I had a noise problem with my spacers. I put a piece of double sided tape in the middle and it calmed them down.

But my cables also twang. I figure it's because there's no cable guard to stop it, and if the bow goes hunting it will need some silencers for the cables. It's not that bad, probably half a bundle of cat whiskers per cable would do it.
