I travel with them on hunting/fishing trips every year or so, not any more and I sent them a message through their site.. We need to get the word out on United , there are other Airlines that are more friendly towards us . Randy
Every year I fly out west with Delta and they have a $100.00 charge listed for antlers and I always bring them on carry on and never paid extra or had any problems. I do wrap every point and beam with foam pipe insulation and tape them up with electrical tape for safety.
No it means no antler in any way. I found out the hard way. I shot a buck in mid Nov in Alberta and had to leave the horns at the airport. My outfitter is trying to find a way to ship them but so far the cheapest is like 500 bucks.
