Hello to my North Dakota friends on AT. I am going on a trip to bowhunt the Missouri River river bottoms in the Northwest corner of the state. I was wondering when is your best times to hunt? I see gun season opens on Nov 4th, so I guess the first week of Nov is out of the question. Can I hunt in gun season with my bow using my archery tag? Is the last week of Oct a killer? How about the first week of season? Will be hunting river bottoms with ag lands. Thanks Jeremy

Here's the best kept secret about ND. Best time to go is the end of the season when it's 2 degrees out with 3 feet of snow everywhere and every deer in the state is huddled around a haybale trying to stay alive. Write that down.
