I've got a 70# Martin 1700 series with a 30 inch draw and supposedly a 60% let off.

I feel like I am going crazy, but before the string replacement the let off felt like a lot more then after the string replacement.

I took the string back off and gave it the proper 1.5 twists per inch, but that didn't seem to make much difference.

Ideas?

The let-off shouldn't change by just changing the string unless it is short and you are pulling past the stops.

If you had the buss cables changed then the cam timing will be out.
