I use a #12 tippit with about 8 feet of 8 lb leader, with a moose hair nymph,on a 9 foot fly rod.6 wt.
It is legal in Tn but its catch and release

Those Mickey Mouse sweatshirts were somewhat popular here a year ago or so. It's a "designers shirt" or whatever, believe it or not. So it's not something he found in someones wardrobe from the 80s
