I used nuts & bolts advise on spine, ST Epic 340. The center shot was set with a lazer. The nock is 1/8" above level. I shot a few bare shafts at 10 yards. The nock was pointing left and high, but not much. When compared to a fletched shaft at 20 yards, the bare one hit low about 7" but in line vertically. When I shoot at 40 yards the fletched shaft is not flying like a dart. Don't know if it is fishtailing or porposing. What can i adjust to get them flying great?
I was using 2" Blazer. Would a longer vane help or mask the problem?

1)
Turn both limb bolts to the maximum,
and then back out both bolts the same amount
to make sure you have even tiller at the top and bottom.
So, maybe the top limb bolt requires 3.5 turns to get to maximum
and the bottom limb bolt requires 3.25 turns to get to maximum,
then after you bottom out both limb bolts
put a dab of paint at the 12-o'clock position of both limb bolts.
Now, turn both limb bolts back out ONE LESS turn.
So, if you required 3.5 turns to get to maximum on the limb bolts,
then turn out both limb bolts say only TWO turns.
Yes, you are increasing the draw weight.
When done, make sure the dot of paint is at the 12-o'clock position.
2)
Confirm that the brace height and ATA are correct.
3)
Fire a bare shaft and a fletched shaft again.
Let us know what happens now.
