Just got back from my deer camp. Found lots of honey locust beans and the red oaks are LOADED!!! Didn't see any white oak acorns but it's a tad early and they are hard to see right now. I just hope the oak I found by our food plot drops as early as it usually does. :) Hopefully I can post some early pics. :)

Thanks but there won't be any monster bucks. :( Prolly not even any shooters as we have gone to a 15" spread minimum this year. I just hunt for does mostly but they sure do eat good. :) I still get really excited shooting a doe. I just gotta figure out how to hunt the beans. Not sure if morning or evening would be better.

ecm, not a bean field. these are honey locust bean trees. they are scattered about through the woods. I did find 4 together last year but didn't make it to them to see if they had beans. I'm sure they do. I'm thinking about hunting the beans in the am and food plots or acorns in the pm. to start out anyway. Thanks for the wellwishes. :)
