Why did the Sniper GT not switch to the new riser?

Because it kept the Sniper name. The changes were on the cams, cable guard, pockets, limbs, string, and harness.

And boy did those changes help...the Sniper GT is one awesome little rig IMHO as I recently compared it to another great little ATA bow the Mathews Helim. Very impressed, well done OA.
