Which one is right offset?

Ok I got an explanation from B3. The 3 blade standard is shipped in Left offset but you can swap the blades to right and it will decrease the cut diameter y 1/16". the Standard 4 blades is shipped in right offset as shown on their website.
Clear as mud.

I hope they are letting consumers know about the offset direction when they purchase them. I can only imagine that flight and performance may suffer if the offset is mismatched from their fletching. I haven't actually shot any offset blade heads before.

So what degree and direction offset or helical do you use?

Match it to your arrows. Looking from nock end. Test shoot them. Noise, accuracy and POI will let you know. Also look out for "knuckle balling" or "parachuting"?

Let your test and results guide you.

Good luck.

Yeah my main purpose was to clear up some obvious confusion. I have seen some comments on here lately that theirs came right offset from factory and that’s not the case. But yes your suggestions could be one way of answering the question.

I also heard that the 3 blade Destrukt's come with left offset from the factory, read that somewhere.
I bought 4 packs of 3 blade Destrukt last year. Right out of the package they were set for a right offset. I looked at them from the back and could see they would want to rotate clockwise.
I have right offset on my vanes. They shoot like darts for me. I had my bow bareshaft tuned to 30 yards and the Destrukt's right out of the package shot to POA the same as a field point.
I also let my brother-in-law shoot one, he is looking for a different fixed BH to use. He has right offset on his vanes. His bow was tuned to shoot Montecs and field points together. The Destrukt shot great for him and right to POA as well.
If B3 is claiming they come with left offset out of the package...I'd say the confusion remains because mine sure didn't.

Yea In principle. Which ever the blade is oriented left or right it will turn with the resistance it meets. Left or right is determined by looking from the back of the BH, in between blades. The side with the vertical blade will be the offset side. The other blade will be horizontal. It’s always been by assumption and I couldn’t figure out what the confusion was with B3. I have more info to share later after work.

So I talked with Joe at B3 yesterday and he confirmed that if you switch the blades on the standard 3 blade to right offset it will decrease the cut diameter by about 1/16". The standard gets shipped left at least they're supposed to. Somehow some may not idk. But regardless the way they are designed, the little protruding cylinder, in the blade slots, on the ferrule, that the blades fit over is offset from the center. So if you switch them from left to right it will decrease the cut a tad. According to Joe the 4 blade standard is shipped with right offset.
Interestedly I was watching Bill Winke and he was going through his setup. He shoots the Destrukt. He was showing how the offset on his BH matched his right helical vanes at the 6:23 mark of the vid. The Destrukt was actually set to left offset. you can see the vid. I did message him. Some how somewhere the message has been they are shipped in right offset when the norm shipment is left but obviously can easily be switched. BTW the customer service at B3 is top notch and the Destrukt is the most forgiving BH ive shot in my 40+ years of archery.

OK so one last update. I received my order of the standard 4 blade Destrukts. They came with left offset (B3 call right helical) and you cannot swap them to right. You can the 3 blade standard but not the 4 standard. I called and spoke with Joe. He referred to the designers or techs and B3 are calling or advertising them as right helical which is clearly wrong. I am sending them back and they will be sending me what B3 considers left helical which is actuality is right offset. I referred them to the Lusk video and his test of the Max in left offset (B3 calls right helical) where you can, as plain as day, see the BH's rotation of counter clockwise or to the left from behind the arrow. First I do not know how anyone can call the blades "right helical" in any form or fashion but I'm no engineer. But I do know how they turn in a medium. I stand behind my above comments regarding their customer service and their products. With that said there's definitely some confusion, misinterpretation or misinformation somehow and it is very frustrating. It could be on my part but I pretty sure not.
