Hey guy's. I have been invited on an archery whitetail hunt near Fairfield, Ohio during the first week of November. I was wondering what the average temperature is up their at that time so that I can be prepared. Any other advice is welcome. I probably will not have another opportunity like this so I want to get it right the first time.

The first week can be hot but percentages say you should be fine.
I'm going on my sixth year up there and one thing seems to hold constant.
If it is hot(average daytime temp 50 degrees or higher) I would cancel and angel for a different time. Deer above the mason dixon line pretty much shut down if it's hot regardless of the rut. Good luck! Go to a weather website and run a ten day forecast.

passin through,

come up here prepared for the worst. if its cold you cant put on gear u dont have with u. but if it warms up you have a little extra lugage. better safe than sorry!
that time of year 25-30 degree temp changes from day to day are not uncommon. and bring the rain gear! good luck

My first year in central Ohio, 2003, it was the 2nd week of November, We brought all these cold weather clothes. I remember stepping out of the truck and it was hot. I was thinking, we just drove 500 miles, and its this hot! Anyway, 2 days later, and still warm I killed a huge 17pter with a bow. I'm going back no matter how hot it is.

I've hunted southeastern Ohio for the past 7 years, you can get into some really cold weather in mid Nov. but i would say it is cool in the mornings and afternoons and mild during mid day. Take something for extreme cold even though you may not need it. It is better to have and not need than to need and not have. Good Luck!!

BowtechArch said it right, were I hunt it is very hilly and by the time I got to my stand I was sweaty and I hate that more than anything! Also from early afternoon till dark the wind was rippin, you couldnt here a herd of cattle under your stand. Just sat there holding on wishing I took Dramine!
