I have been shooting so good latley. the past few years I have averaged a 292 on a vegas target as a bowhunter freestyle shooter, but this year I had made a few changes and my avg has gone to 298 with 6 300s in the past 2 weeks. my first one was 2 weeks ago.
Anyway last night I was shooting great, clean thrugh 7 ends, then I had 3 9s straight low, next end, 3 7s low, last end 3 6s low.
I thought maybe my rest had moved becasue I couldent see any change in my nocking point, so I moved my rest up to sqare my arrow off. Got dialed in again fo a few ends, then they started dropping out low again, I finally put my bow away when I started shooting scuds low,
any suggestions?

Well it's real "obvious" to me what is happening.... your target keeps getting farther away! :p
Go back over the bow and make sure that everything is in the same place it was initially. i.e. nock point strings and cables and the rest is not loose or broke if a blade. check the cord length if a drop away style, check your peep height and your sight parts.
But I still think it could be your target messing with ya. ;) Ken

klbaird, I have had the same problem in the past. It was not the bow it was me. I was shooting too much. I had to pull myself away from my bow for 2 days, when I picked it up again The were falling right in there.

I just spent 10 weeks in Japan and didn't even think about archery, got back last week. Went out shot 3 practice arrows then shot a 300 60X round like I hadn't missed a day.

Just my .02 cents.

Shooting low

It sounds to me like you have a problem with the center
serving on your string slipping up.
That will cause the noc set to move up along with it causing low shots.
If this is the case a new serving is in order.
After trying several different serving materials and still having the
same problem, I started installing a loop under the arrow.
This will require the peep to be readjusted.
I have finally eliminated my problem.

Has to be an equipment thing from your description. That much of a difference but stilll grouping must be either the rest or the sight coming loose.

Also, make sure one of your "friends" isn't playing a practical joke on you when you're not watching the bow. It has been known to happen.

Check your D-loop if you have one! I went through that last year! As I was shooting, the two knots were getting closer together and pinching the nock! If I moved them back to their original position, right back in the x everything went! Then it would start all over again! Now I tie both knots under the arrow with a tied nocking point!
