i have a old high country, i am drawing 70# and shooting 293f/sec i just did some repairs to this bow to get up to this speed. i have a ultra-rest hunter drop away rest. now my arrow is hitting my rest while it is falling and it is ripping my fletch off my arrow. any help or advice?

time the rest better. i was shooting upwards of 325 out of my monster XLR8 with a QAD and never had contact issues. If you time it to come up at the last 1" of draw then it will drop plenty fast

make sure the rest is coming up to the full upright position in the last 1/2" of draw- no sooner.

Most people assume that the rest needs more than that, but by the rest coming up before that last 1/2", you are actually lengthening the time it takes to drop.

PM me if you need more info- you should have no problems with this rest on your bow.

They pretty much covered it. You have a VERY GOOD REST that I use also. You just have a timing issue and that is it.
