??? On Using Lenses

I just got a HHA slider 5019 with .019 pin to play with and have been tossing around the idea of trying out a lense--maybe a 2x or 4x. I know absolutely nothing about this and I'm wondering if it's as simple as just attaching the lense to the scope or do you have to do stuff with the peep? Any help is appreciated.

this is TOTALLY relative to your personal eye sight.

You do need the lens "kit" to accept the glass. metal ring, o ring, and 2 screws. After that, a 2x lens really doesn't need a clarifier. Some people need one with a 4x. usually a tiny yellow or small green. Like 3/16 or 1/8 hole.
