Opening Weekend A Bust!!!

I have been working on my hunting spot for the whole summer and had a salt lick there for over a year now. For the past two months I have had a tail cam and have taken some really nice pics of bucks. I was getting close to 70 pics of deer a day. Its been over a week now but my apples havent been touched and this weekend was the opening for bow hunting in Quebec. I spent over 9 hours in my stand and didnt see one deer. I got there at 4:30 am and was very careful of noise and scent. Same thing for the Sunday all I saw was a small doe. Can anyone explain to me why this is or have I done something wrong?????

Has there been a change in weather or moon phases. I've seen these things cause deer to change. May have gone nocturnal. happens here a lot.
