I did the usual and headed to my property in Glennie for 3 days. Perfect weather (low 40's in the a.m. and mid 50's in the p.m.) and still pretty green. During the early part of the season I always try and take a doe or two. Saw deer each day and passed on a BB and 4" spike. Lots of big bodied deer this year! Unfortunately I never had the opportunity to fill one of my doe tags. I did see a couple of 6 pointers together, both young and should be some wall hangers in a couple of years. I'll spend the next few days chasing deer behind my house and split my time between bow and waterfowl for the rest of the year. I snapped a few pictures. The first 2 were taken while in my stand. The next is me and my old and trusted Q2.
