Ran across a shop that had a leftover Bowtech Stryker 405fps crossbow. Everything is there (bow, case, crank, scope and manual) except the arrows. Its brand new and never shot. Would like some info on what the bow was like, what it might be worth, etc.. I love my Strykeforce but I'm having trouble cocking it this year. The idea of a built-in crank sounds pretty good to me. Any info/help would be appreciated. Maybe I could adopt the crank to my bow. Thanks

There are no parts for those, that help. If it's new, warranty never registered BT would probably honor it but if anything were to happen they'll more than likely replace it with an SZ.

Why not just use a hand crank for your strykeforce? I had to use one when i had my rotator cuff operated on. I used the one from barnet and it worked good, just something else to carry if you like your strykeforce.

I know where one has been sitting for sale for a year. I would not buy it unless just for a conversation piece/collection. Limbs took a beating on these bows and they weigh a ton.

I love my SF. Would never sell it. Its heavy but built like a tank. I've modified a Parker crank and permanently attached it to my SF. Works great. I can cock and uncock the bow very easily. I also have a SZ 350 which I have installed the complete Acudraw system. With some modification to the sled/claw with my Dremel tool I can also cock and uncock it as well. The only reason I was interested in the original Stryker is because it uses the same stock as my Sf. And I was considering trying to adopt the Stryker built in cocking mechanism.Who knows maybe the dealer will get tired of it collecting dust and just give it to me. LOL. Thanks to all who responded.
