I would love to know what goes on in the brains of these programming gurus.

Here we are right in archery whitetail, elk, mule deer, etc seasons. So what do they air...turkey hunting. I love turkey hunting as much as the next guy but I'm fired up for deer.

I know some don't like these shows to begin with so showing turkey hunts right in the midst of big game season certainly doesn't help their ratings.

Guess I'll find one of my archery magazines, that I already read a couple times over, to pass the time. Yippie.

I agree.

They start the fall hunting shows in July when people have all kinds of things to do with family and friends. When it starts getting dark early and you wish you got off work in time or didn't have to help your kids with homework they show fishing, turkey hunting, or waterfowl most of the time. I quess the programing guys don't do much hunting.

Not a fan.

I don't care for turkey hunting shows now either but Ohio as well as other states have fall turkey seasons. If they want to run these shows they need to show you how to take FALL gobblers.
