Now thats a good idea.

Strong tiny coc 2 blade ferrule with opening blades. Main head is reusable and resharpenable…opening blades are easily replaced….pretty clever.

I’m a fixed guy but this looks like it might be a winner….

Eh. Not sure how I feel about the 90* shoulder on the deployable blade. Thats also a lot of blade both directions. Probably be worth a shot on whitetail. Between the cutting surface and the harsh blade angle, I wouldnt try on anything bigger. I will admit the ferule and fixed blade look really beefy and tough, but I've always treated mechanicals as one and done anyways

I think Sevr Hybrid is the best out right now. Going to try to sample a few on deer and elk this year. I like the size and design a lot.

I am trying so hard to hold off until they inevitably introduce the hybrid with 1.75 or 2" blades. But I am struggling, may bite on the 1.5 hybrids.

There are more and more of these hybrid designs coming out for mech head shooters….

Its no wonder, they typically penetrate better with that leading cutting edge. Gravedigger, evolution outdoors, Ozcut…and a couple more coming out including one from Barnett.

Looks interesting. I wonder if Lusk has gotten his mitts on any to run some tests? I bought a pack of the original Ozcuts and they were tiny. I typically limit my mech BH use to turkeys, but would consider using such for whitetails if they prove to be sharp and durable. Thanks for sharing....
