What brand has kept you the warmest in late season?...Also was not a problem climbing on screw in steps or using a climber..

My current pair is four winters old. Plain brown LaCrosse from Gander Mountain (they had PALLETS of them) for $49.99. Warm as heck and with wool socks they are a dream. I late season hunt and ice fish. I've also worn my LaCrosse Alpha Burly 600 gram with wool socks and have no complaints. Got wool???

I stick foot warmer pads down in my regular boots. They last as long as I care to be out in really cold weather.
