Does anyone have any insight into an inexpensive camera that will hold up to the wear and tear of hunting?

Olympus has a line of cameras (Point and shoot) that are shock-proof and waterproof down to 4 feet. Might be worth looking into.

If not, you can carry a small camera on your belt. I've got a Panasonic TZ5 which delivers pretty good results.
