Hey Guys - what does everyone carry in their day pack? I am talking evertime they go out - be specific. If you bring something - why? First Aid kit - what is inside etc?Trying to put together a small pack that goes on every hunt with me and covers mupltiple situation that could come up. Thanks.

It may sound silly but I’ve been carrying something of the sort ever since survival school

Ziploc with dryer lint
lighter (zippo)
magnesium striker.
One field dressing
Hemostatic granules/powder (forms a clot at the site of an injury/wound military used it in combat)
field expedient tourniquet
Basic first aid a few bandages iodine creams small bottle germ X, liquid skin Lg. and small butterfly bandage
Emergency blanket orange
Xtra cell battery Xtra flashlight batteries
Light sticks red green and IR if you can find them
food bars w/suger and fat a + no candy only good for quick fix

Bleat can
field wipes (scent free)
Field spray (odor eliminator)
Knife with gut hook
Field dressing gloves
Toilet paper
Drinks - usually water and gatorade
Food - usually a breakfast bar and some kind of peanut butter crackers
GPS
Orange Ribbon
Band Aids
Extra hook to screw in to tree and hang bow
gloves, face mask and extra clothes
camo face paint
spare release
limb saw

There is probably more stuff I am forgetting about.

I think that is it. I have been using a Cabela's regular sized day pack. I bring all of this stuff no matter where or when im hunting, even if it is for a quick evening hunt out back.

Some of my emergency gear includes: lighter, matches, whistle, flashlight, silver metallic blanket thing, bandaids, compass, nylon cord, $20 cash, old drivers license for ID, old glasses as spare set, wad of TP and/or paper towels.

That's all that comes to mind right now.
