Painting Carbon Riser

I recently picked up a hoyt carbon matrix and when I received the bow it appears to have been painted. Im unsure how it was painted, I'm assuming spray paint. However, the finish is starting to show some wear and was curious as to what would be the best option for painting or having the riser painted?

Do not let anyone "blast" the riser unless that are VERY skilled! Carbon can be cut away quickly with the wrong medium. I know a guy you can ask if you don't believe me!
