I have one of these for my son and wife and it is a 50 max bow. Parker's website says it can be turned down to 40 lbs no problem. I cranked the limb bolts out 4 complete turns on both limbs and it is still registering 44 lbs. on the scale. Am I safe to give them another half to full turn each. Or is 4 the max. If so I will be calling Parker to complain

I have back the limb bolts out 6 turns as long as your limb is not out of the pocket on the sides.
