Smaller might be better on the range with proper lighting, but in hunting situations I would recommend larger (5/16), helps gathering the light....just my .02...

Like others. I run the largest peep and never had a problem before

I currently use a PXL Hunter peep with the 5/32 aperture. I killed a buck at 25 yds at first legal shooting light and had no problem seeing him through the peep. I plan on switching to a Podium or PXS Target peep so I can try a 1/8" aperture.

I absolutely love my PXS target and my podiums. Very good choices with lots of options.

Can you have a verifier with peep that has interchangeable apertures? Or do you have to change verifiers with the different apertures?
