So I'm restring my bow after season is over and I'm gettin a new peep sight as well I've got a 1/4in corded peep I'm thinking about puttin a 3/16 peep without a cord will the smaller peep make me shoot more accurately? And other than havin to worry about the cord not dry rotting is there any advantage to have a stand alone peep?

I try and pick my peep so that it lines up with the sight housing (outside diameter ring of your sight). And depending on how close your site housing is to your riser and the size of your site housing in general Will dictate whether you need a 3/16 of an inch or a 1/4 inch peep, etc. etc. A smaller peep can make you more accurate, but for hunting I much prefer a larger peep in general, it really helps your field of view in low light. And regardless of what size peep you need or want to shoot, I prefer a peep with no tube attachment.
