Peep verifier...worth it?

My aging eyes are making my pins blurry, worse in lower light.
Thinking about trying a verifier, but I'm also thinking it might be a good time to switch to a single pin?
I have no trouble seeing my 20 yd pin, the rest are a blur.

Just wondering if anyone has tried the verifier, and if it's worth the effort of install/re-sight and all that.

Go larger sight pins - eg .029 - or a Verifier - you will need to determine the appropriate magnification for you....most bow shops should have a Varifier kit...to help you chose the colour and therefore the magnification of the appropriate lens...the effort involved is minimal - just swapping over the peep and installing the lens...

When everything is right, by getting the right size lens, you will wonder how you ever got by without it. I sure know that's what has happened to me. Night and day difference.

I like the single pin over multi-pins. Yes, the Right verifier makes a difference as does a lens over a single pin. As mentioned, your dealer has a kit to help you pick the right power verifier or clarifier if you decide to use a lens. Usually you don't need a clarifier with a lens 4 power or less. If you prefer multi-pins the verifier is the way to go, without a doubt.

Get a Nite Hawk peep. I will clear up your pin and target.

Hi Ken,

just wanted to report back, that I have run several arrows through the bow now with your peep..............it is confirmed, this is easily the best investment I have made!......You are right, groups have been incredibly tighter at any distance

Thanks, Again

I agree with the guys above. The only downside is keeping it from getting a big ole drop of water in there in the rain on a soggy hunt, or dirt and junk.....I check mine regularly on hunts and sometimes wrap a small piece of alu foil over it if its pouring.

If not for my verifier I would have had to relearn the art of instinctive shooting wich I havent done since I was like 14 or something, but it is how I learned to shoot.
One tip I can impart is to clean the lense with an anti fog solution before you go out hunting. Nothing more frustrating than drawing back on a deer only to have a fogged lense and no shot, been there done that one!!

No only the pins, if want clearer sight pic then go with a clarifier or another option is the tru-spot scope & clarifier it is like shooting a peep sight on a rifle.

A #4/silver verifier is the first change I make on a new bow. I wear glasses for downrange clarity and the verifier brings the pins into clarity.

I found out a verifier will work excellent if you don't wear your glasses while shooting, my glasses are bi-focals and have some correction for distance also. I have always shot with both eyes open but I am finding out at least with my eyes that if I remove my glasses and close my left eye (right handed shooter) I can see the target and my pins very clear. I am no expert on vision but it seems your eyes cant look thru 2 different type of lenses and see objects clear. By removing my glasses and closing my left eye and using the correct verifier I can see and shoot like I used to 15-20 years ago. Its like learning to shoot all over again but the ability to see multiple pins and also see a clear target also is worth the change.

Ken Why don't you send me 1 of your peeps to test & I will let you know if it is better than my clarifier that I already have & works GREAT!.

This! I had the same problem and went with a #2 Clarifier. Cleared the target right up. Pin stayed clear.
