I want a fixed head made from laminated steel. I would love something similar to the Falkinven laminated steel or even their top line powdered laminate. You would pay more for the head and need to find a custom knife maker to build it but they would last a very long time and not lose as much metal when sharpened(minimal weight loss). You could have a three set that lasts for ten years?

Ever check out the Silver Flames?
Not that steel I don't think but they're pretty hardcore adn you could easily get 5+ seasons out with care.

Definitly not

I think broadheads are too expensive the way it is. I have never used a broadhead that would last for years. Something always gets slightly bent and I wont use it. I also have a bad habit of losing them here in the mountains. It seems they have a tendancy to go through the victim and land somewhere in the next county ( exageration)--arrows travel a long distance when shooting down hill in steep terrain .
