Photos with spotting scopes ??

I have a quick question. I've seen people post photos and was under the impression that some of them are taken using a spotting scope. If you're scoping a bunch of deer in a field can you use the scope to photo them with your 'regular' digital camera by just putting the lens of your camera in the eyepiece of your scope?

Thanks

Spotting scope camera adapters

Do a google search for "spotting scope camera adapters". There is an adapter made for most cameras. However, I can't seem to find one for mind. I have a Panasonic DMC-LZ2PP which is the same as a DMC-LZ1PP according to the owners manual. Any help on finding the correct adapter to a Leupold Sequoia spotting scope would be appreciated. Send me a PM.
