Lets see some of the bruisers we have taken. I shot this buck late last fall. He dressed 260lbs. at the tail end the rut.
My next biggest was 254 dressed, but I dont have any pictures of him. This is the hog from last season. He looked like a side of beef laying there.
He had a 26.5" cape, the largest the taxidermist had ever seen.

I dont know if you saw it, but there was a picture of an absolute gian buck floating around. It was up in air on whether or not the buck was photoshopped or not....

Congrats on the awesome bodied buck! Man, there is just something about shooting one of those corn-fed Hulks!

I've been fortunate enough to take 2 bucks over 260# (field dressed) and a couple more over the 250# mark. Here's one of the 260's

Deerman, that's an awesome Doe! I've never taken a big ol' gal like that. I've taken them in the 140 range but nothing like that fatty! Congrats on all your heavyweights! :thumbs_up

Man, why are the majority of truly giant bucks that I ever hear about come from IOWA??? Everyone, Illinois is over-rated.... hunt Iowa!
