The PIN protects the arrow shaft when getting rearended. The NOCK is still flexible enough to release easily from the string but its expendible.

yes it does, but well worth it saved plenty of arrows with them...plus if you shoot the fat arrows like i do, when you crowd the twelve it punishes the next arrow in there if they hit you...

the pin nock and bushing only weigh in at 13.6 and 2.8 grains. thats for a 22 series Goldtip shaft. total weight is 16.3 which is a little more than a normal Goldtip nock, but they do save your arrows from being rear ended ..

yes i reccomend them and yes you can use the pin nocks for the hunter series goldtips. you have to order the goldtip .246 pin nock bushing. that fits in all of Goldtips Hunter shafts. then you would also need the pin nocks to go with them.

i really like the pin nock system. the only bugger is that you must check them after shooting. if you put one on your string and it doesnt click . then you should replace that pin nock. i only had to replace 5 pin nocks this year for 3 D and i shot a lot of shoots.

for 3D they are a must if your using goldtip arrows.

pinocks

I shoot alot of goldtip shafts and only my hunting shafts have GT nocks!!!!

pinocks are a must if ur looking to keep ur arrows while shooting fita and 3d.

i find ive dented soo many pins... that if i had the regular nocks they would have been cracked for sure they just glance of instead sure u break the pinocks off here and there but saves ur shafts!!
