The Pearson has been moved up to May instead of July this year to try to beat the heat. We are looking for a good turnout again this year. The shoot will be a stagger start on saturday and a shotgun start at 9:30 on Sunday. I will repost with all the times and prices. We have gone back to having a novice class and a fingers class seperate. We followed the ABA on combining those two classes but decided to change it back since it was not taken too well by members of both classes. Pro can only shoot pro and can only shoot on sunday. Pro shoots for money and first place will recieve a plaque. all other classes will be given plaques for top 5 places. (even fingers even though we only had 3 shooters last year) (we would really like to see more bowhunter finger shooters come out and support this shoot and their division). This is a very nice shoot with thousands of dollars in door prizes and several hundred shooters. You may shoot more than one division if your equipment allows and they are on seperate ranges (except pro). Also traditional shooters are allowed to shoot the same range more than once in different divisions. We will be having Country Gossip cater the food again this year, it was VERY GOOD last year. the ranges are clean and will be sprayed several times over the next two weeks for ticks and mosquitoes so they shouldn't be a problem. we hope everyone is able to come out and shoot and have a good time with us.
thanks to everyone who was able to show up. the shoot went well. the weather held out till everyone shot. pearson archery was not able to make it but did send a bow to be given away. we would like to thank them for the bow. the results are posted on the pine bluff website listed above.
