I have a small area in NC that is approx. 20yds X 40 yds.
It has some clay type rocky soil. I am going to have to roto-tiller it to break-up the soil.
It has some wheat type grasses on it already.
I wanted to plant brassicas in it.
Do I need to spray to kill the wheat grass first and then till it or till and spray?
I am using Tecomate Brassicas seed (in a jar)

Any advice is appreciated.

I spray then wait a couple of weeks to let it do it's thing. Then till it up and plant it in the same day.

Hold off on it a while, you should wait until late august to early september for those here.
