Would you hunt or buy a shoot through riser and cable bow?

Yes I will and have been hunting with a shoot through cable set up for hunting and 3D for 3 years now. I've made 4 shoot through risers in the late 80's out of 1/4 inch aluminum plate material with rotating grips with great accuracy and consistency.

Based on my Pro Elite, shoot through risers are clumsy and I don't like them for either hunting or target

Based on my Sceptor Nitrous X, shoot through cables are easy to learn to use. I'd use them for either hunting or target.

shoot through riser yes cables no too much to get in the way and to go wrong on a spot stalk type hunt shorter ata yes 32 to 33 inches is my preference depends on the weight of the bow as well i dont like a too light of a bow but also i dont like an extremely heavy bow between 3.7 to 4.0 lbs bare bow weight for me

The DST36 is already the ideal "do everything" bow. Now if only I could get my hands on one...

Double shoot thru wouldnt be a problem for my hunting style.
