Mowed my food plots last week. Fertilized them today. Here are a few pictures of them. This is their first full year. Planted last fall and reseeded this February.

How hard do the deer hit the clover? I just planted one and am going to be competing with all the neighbors wheat. Hoping to draw them my way
The only time I have seen them avoid clover in preference to something else is when it is too tall. If it gets over 8 inches it isn't as palpable. You should be good to go.

the plot is on its 2nd year of growth


I also have a turnip plot, but have not planted that one yet. Last year the turnips were a huge hit from November to January. Its like a magnet!

I bet you smacked a few in this spot in the afternoons late season!

Your plot could be a good staging area before they head to your neighbors wheat.
