I just got my pro comp elite green with black cams and limb pockets. This is my first target bow. It shoots real nice with the 60lbs spiral cams. I was just wondering is there any thing I can do to quiet this thing down ? I usually shoot hunting bows that r real quiet.

Cam rotation tweaking will quiet the bow down some....BUT your not shooting a hunting bow with parallel limbs. No matter what you do to it your not going to get it to be "hunting bow" silent...and the bow isn't designed to be that silent.

Set the bow up....and shoot that puppy and don't worry about noise. The target isn't going to jump the string and the other target shooters around you won't notice the noise difference. Adding a string stop won't make the bow that much more quiet...and it sure isn't going to make the bow shoot more accurate.

Shoot heavier arrows, 500 gr +.
Tie on some rubber cat whiskers.
Trade your target sight for a simple 3 pin fixed sight.
Use a fixed rest, whisker biscuit or a quick tune 1000.
Buy and install $200 worth of limb saver or equivalent accessories.
