I have the Pro Diamond and I was wondering about these others. I would like to try the SuperX but I will be using it mainly for hunting. Does anyone who has used any of them have any thoughts to share. I have read a few that say the SuperX is noisy. Is the Extreme worth upgrading to or should I just stick with the regular Pro Diamond? Thanks for any and all help.

Its funny you ask. I own a Pro Diamond and a Stan Super X. The Stan is awesome. I may even hunt with it but yes it is nosiy compared to the Pro Diamond. The problem I have is that with the Pro Diamond I would have to lower my draw length down because the release head is so long compared to the Stan. I too have been wondering about the Extreme Pro Diamond. I hate to spend another $95 for another release but I probably will. I also have a Tru-Fire Hunter. Its not bad but it isnt the same quality as the Pro Diamond and its just as long. The Extreme is the exact same release as the regular Pro just the head is 7/16 shorter. Good luck.

Can't comment on the SuperX, but I had the Pro Diamond and now have the Xtreme. The Extreme does help on the draw length, but the more I use it, the less impressed I am with the lack of crispness and sensitivity in the trigger. Maybe I'm spoiled by the Carter Just B Cuz that I use for 3D. I thought the switch to the Xtreme would return my anchor point to where I like it, but it didn't quite do it. Still had to shorten the draw length.

Thanks. So far I really like the Pro Diamond and I really was thinking about the superX. Guess maybe right now the best thing to do is save the money and go with what is working.

carter ember 1

I have a super x medium 3 finger and its too noisy to hunt with. The carter ember1 is silent and easy to load onto a loop, plus it is short so you can pull 1/2" more draw length if you wanna. The super x is an awsome target release though
