I been using these glue for 3 years and never had a problem with them until Yesterday. I was fletching blazers to a couple arrows that had wraps on and after the first one I didn't notice anything but after the second one, I started noticing the wrap, on where the blazers are set started to become loose and the color fading. I did put a little more glue than I need to but that shouldn't effect the wrap (i think). When it dried the wraps are loose, tried moving the blazers to see how good the blazer are glue on and the wrap moved with the blazer, when I moved the blazer side to side(only where the blazers are set).

Do you think it's the wrap or the fletch-tite?
Has this ever happen to any of you that used fletch-tite platinum?

I think it's either the wraps are to weak or the Fletch-tite platinum are too strong (chemically) for wraps but like I said above I've haven't had this problem before and has been using it for fletching feathers and vanes on wraps before.

Gotta be the wraps. Fletchtite platinum should be perfect for any vinyl wrap, since fletchtite in itself is vinyl. A very strong bond is created but not enough to effect the adhesion of the wrap itself. My guess is that you got some cheap wraps that would not work with any type of glue.

Had a similiar experience ......

Platinum will not work with a number of arrow wrap materials, it seems to melt the wrap instead of bonding to it ..... switch back to a regular Fletchtite, or try an instant glue. Either will work fine, and not damage the integrity of either the wrap or fletch.

Good luck
